Our Pot Luck Night
Over 24 incredible individuals joined us for our Pot Luck evening, each bringing their own unique blooms to share. As they collected their tickets, a sense of camaraderie filled the room. Then, with creativity and teamwork, another member expertly arranged those beautiful flowers. The transformation was nothing short of magnificent, leaving us all inspired and reminded of the magic that happens when we come together. During our vibrant April Workshop, we embarked on an exciting journey, discovering the art of creating stunning Triangular Displays. These sessions are an absolute joy, brimming with creativity and filled with laughter. With the guidance of our two dedicated teachers, who are here to inspire and elevate our designs, we are wholeheartedly encouraged to unleash our imagination and refine our skills. We were absolutely delighted to welcome the remarkable Area Demonstrator, Jayne Morris, from Stroud. Her demonstration was not only captivating but also deeply enlightening! Jayne shared her enchanting tales of her floral creations in the majestic Gloucester Cathedral and stunning Malmesbury Abbey, taking us on a journey filled with beauty and artistry. Her experiences at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show held us spellbound, inspiring a sense of possibility within each of us. Additionally, her delightful anecdotes about 'Cat Sitting' added a charming touch, reminding us to embrace joy in life’s little moments. March Workshop
Our March Workshop was all about designing Spring Flowers
At Pewsham Community Centre several members and visitors got together to design floral displays of spring flowers. Some were supermarket bunches and some were from peoples gardens. We think the designs are stunning and reflect the various levels of skills that each arranger has demonstrated. Well done to everyone who came along and to our tutors for their advice and inspiration.
